Moisturizer Lotions For Every Skin Type

Moisturizer Lotions from Southwest Sunshine are amazing. I was thrilled when I received my order, and couldn’t wait to try all of my new products.

Just like last time, I had been spending too much time in the sun, so the first thing I did was apply the gel. My face and shoulders felt instant relief. After I couple of minutes I looked in the mirror, and I swear I looked 10 years younger! No need for plastic surgery when you have Southwest Sunshine!

After I applied the gel, I put on the moisturizer, which contains the base gel of Arnica, Aloe Vera, Rosemary, Comfrey, Watercress, Jaborandi, Allantoin, Sapanonis, and some other really great ingredients. I can use my new moisturizer day and night on my face, hands, body, and feet. Best of all, it contains a PABA free, approximate Sp15 sunscreen. I applied the moisturizer before I put on my make-up and I didn’t notice any flaking, which is always the case with other moisturizers that I have tried.

After I got home from work, I was thrilled. My face didn’t look oily, and my make-up looked as fresh as it had when I applied it 9 hours earlier! The base of the moisturizer doesn’t coat my skin the way that other products do because it doesn’t contain mineral or animal oil. What I really like about the moisturizer is that a little goes a long way and it is so affordable!

I always like to take my make-up off when I get home from work so I was excited to try out the Southwest Sunshine Herbal Facial Cleanser. It’s a creamy cleanser, which I really like. I have tried those alcohol-based cleansers before and they may have taken off the make-up, but they also dried out my skin! The cleanser removed all of my make-up, excess oil, and impurities. After cleansing, I applied the Herbal Facial Moisturizer, which felt like heaven, but I will tell you more about that later!

Healing Therapy And a Moisturizer In One

Moisturizer Lotions are not created equal, and if you are like me, you have probably tried at least a dozen lotions and potions. Honestly, I have never found one that really worked. Most of them are greasy, while others make my skin feel dry. This has always puzzled me as moisturizers are supposed to make your skin feel soft and supple.

I had already given up hope, until a friend told me about a product called Southwest Sunshine that she discovered at the Mesa Market Place Swap Meet. I was a bit dubious when Melissa started raving about it, but I was curious at the same time. She brought over the gel, which is the base of all of the products, and the moisturizing lotion.

My skepticism quickly disappeared the minute I put a drop on the back of my hand. The gel felt so cool, and it wasn’t greasy at all…I was nursing a sunburned face from gardening, and decided to try the gel on my forehead and cheeks. The combination of the herbs that it contains, Arnica, Aloe Vera, Rosemary, Comfrey, Watercress, Jaborandi, Allantoin, Sapanonis, and a whole bunch of other great ingredients work wonders on burns, cuts, insect bites and abrasions. The minute I massaged the Southwest Sunshine Gel into my skin I felt relief. The Herbal Gel speeds up natural cell replacement and expedites healing. Because it absorbs so quickly my sunburn disappeared almost before my eyes.

I applied the moisturizer, which utilizes the gel as the base ingredient, and was blown away. My face wasn’t greasy, and it blended perfectly with the gel that I had just applied.

Melissa was right, and I am waiting for my first order to arrive in the mail. Not only did I order the gel and the moisturizer, but I decided to get some of the other products as well…I cannot wait for my order to arrive, and will definitely keep you posted!

Age Old Traditions Still Hold True In The 21st Century

Moisturizer Lotions have been with us for centuries, but it was not until the Marchant family settled in the Big Horn Basin at the turn of the century and followed the old Native American traditions, that the healing properties of Arnica were discovered and used as a healing gel to treat bruises, wound, cuts, and burns.

When the Marchant family moved to Arizona in 1972, Bret’s father quickly discovered that the herbal gel that his family had used for almost 100 years also worked on the dry and itchy skin that was prevalent in Arizona. After working with an organic chemist, Bret’s father formulated a blend of Arnica, Aloe Vera, Chamomile, Rosemary, Watercress, and Saponins, which is used to treat most skin irritations.

Further research found that the gel could be used as a base for other products to produce an entire herbal skin care system. Although these products were sold under different names across the country in the 1970’s, Bret decided to cut out the middleman, and develop his own line of herbal creams and skin care lotions, and in 1980 created Southwest Sunshine. Bret knew that if he eliminated some of the overhead, he could sell his products at a price that everyone could afford. Instead of spending thousands of dollars on television and radio commercials, Brett hit the road and started demonstrating his products at festivals, fairs, women’s expo’s, and outdoor events. Huge crowds would gather wherever the products were demonstrated and mail orders started pouring in.

The Southwest Sunshine brand continues to grow and is available all over the United States and Canada. These healthy skin care products do not contain water, mineral oil, lanolin, or animal oils. The Herbal Gel, which is the base for the entire line, penetrates and feeds the skin and can be used by people with allergies and sensitive skin.
